Head of CAL Yusuke Hioka was granted Catalyst: Seeding New Zealand-Japan Joint Research Project Programme grant for the project “Extreme acoustic sensing based on small-data-driven machine learning and its rescue application” from the Royal Society of New Zealand. The project will support the collaboration with Prof Hiroshi Saruwatari of University of Tokyo for 2 years.
